late night lunch.
@gnminji
“noona,” he calls as he pushes his way into the bar, warm lights turning his skin red and gold. another girl turns and waves at him, and sebin smiles and waves back, but she’s not who he’s here for. maybe he’s friendly with a lot of minji’s coworkers, but the girl in question a step above the rest. “take your break now. i brought you dinner!”
sebin brandishes the lunchbox as if parading around a trophy. he’s proud of his work here, a homemade meal for once, though he’s sure that even bar food leftovers might be a little tastier than his creation. it’s the thought that matters, he tells himself, as he slides up to his favorite barista and pushes the meal into her hands. she can’t say no now.
it’s not too late yet; the sun has gone down but the bar is still open for several more hours. sebin orders a drink ( from another worker; he’s not going to make minji wait on him when he just asked her to take a break ) and perches himself on a barstool. if he’s lucky, minji will sit with him rather than disappear into a break room. “i hope you’re hungry, ‘cause you’ll need to be to stomach that,” he jokes, a grin never leaving his face.
