A touch late, as I’d intended to have this done for his birthday, but...despite that, it is done! @gnomedraws‘s Rhianna.
I'm no expert myself but I think writing is a bit less about practice and more about refinement. You don't need to write giant paragraphs on random things each day; just write the story you want to do. It doesn't have to be a continuous stream either. Get the ideas down then reorganize them later. Then re-read it and edit it. Get critique from peers. Don't be afraid to use a thesaurus but use words you're comfortable with. Writing is an incredibly malleable media.
That is some solid advice. I agree with everything you said; much more than the “just practice” motion… Thank you for your input! It is much appreciated! :)

In regards to that Content Creator links post, I think that's how it's always been? I mean I thought that's what the whole point of having a blog page was, so you didn't bog down every post with tons of links. I feel like this is something the OP only just noticed and is over reacting because this is the internet and everything that doesn't work like a person thinks it should is obviously an attack against them.
That would make sense. Either way there has to be a better way to avoid spamming posts on search engines than just discarding every post with a link, it’s kind of extreme.
Now I wonder if that’s the case for most of the sites or if it’s just a tumblr thing.
