Last Saturday we joined Go! Push Pops & friends in a beach ritual day to celebrate the end of summer. Thanks to Tasha Petty for joining the film crew and to Elisa and Katie for inviting us to film! A Brooklyn summer isn't complete without a day at Fort Tilden :)
Katie and Elisa of Go! Push Pops taught us that it’s important to TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYONE, duh. So please enjoy these self-timer experiments, and bear with us as we learn how to pose in front of the camera.

This was a recent collaboration with NYC collective gopushpops during a residency at Alexander Arts in Manchester. We performed a live installation ritual in the basement at Bangkok's Bar, Princes Street at the first ever Faux Q event. It was very intense and ritualistic with a lot of physicality and sounds, also from Neil of 2koikarp's tapes. Some had to leave as they were too freaked out! Good sign... It was very celebratory. Hope to work together again in the not too distant future! Absolutely great experience. Video to come!
I'll be collaborating with gopushpops at this event on Saturday in Bangkok's Bar at the launch of Faux Q with ILL, Claire Mooney, LIINES. (Facebook event). We'll be lurking in the basement with Neil Francis of 2koikarp manipulating tapes. Our performance starts at 10.30pm.
Go Push Pops are from Bushwick NYC and are currently artists-in-residence at Alexander Arts. They spoke with Emily Pankhurst's granddaughter at an event recently and are inviting people to create a ritual celebrating and invoking the goddess. They received a lot of press coverage for their Future Feminism project in NYC (see Village Voice and New York Observer articles).
