Ranboo's so flawed and he's so much smarter than people characterize him as; yes he bends and twists for each and everyone but he's sure as hell not being a spineless, innocent and stupid pushover while doing so; he's increadibly hypocritical, cowardly at times and really fucking smart: he changes his act, he carefully picks how and what to tell each person to both get into their graces and to keep his own ass safe, as well as keeping the tings he cares for separated to various degrees, depending on the situation
Once again, Wilbur said smth like "beloved by everyone, are you a shmoozer Ranboo? are you just trying to get on everybody's good side?" when he met him and right away hit the nail on the goddamn head
Maybe that's why Wilbur's probably better than anyone at reading him cause like he said they're both wildly fucking different but they think the same; but I dont think both realised the exact similarities that apply to that observation, it's the fact that they pick and choose their "character", their beliefs and their truth, so to speak, depending on the person and the situation
that's why I enjoy them so much, and concerning Ranboo it sure as hell isn't the fact that he's the innocent nervous pushover with perfect morals and love for everyone and everything except the apparent evil, because that is so so far from the truth. Now I'm obviously not saying he's a bad person, I'm just pointing to the fact that Ranboo (like in his character explanation thread) would do anything to protect what he cares for, which often turns to not the best things moraly
