Hii! I was wondering when your next update for APIAS will come out? I'm head over heals for that bag of angst you call Minato, and ... just generally ... I adore your writing? I lost APIAS for a couple of months and I got so upset - because Me was too stupid to find it. (( I really need to study for medschool and all but y'know, fanfics are life and I can save patients without knowing about M. plantaris tbh ....... /headdesk ))
Hi there!APIAS... It goes. I have like one last scene to write and then a thorough edit to do, and then I should be able to post it. I'll try and get it out sometime in the next two weeks, but you have to understand that I have poor health and catching up on my missed university lectures has to take priority (winter exams are coming up hahaha). I also have some cumulative assessments due next week, so... I'll make you a deal: you study hard for the next two weeks, and I'll study hard this week so I can have a writing session on the weekend. (Also my uni's creative writing club might be doing a night of writing dangerously, so that might be a help.)This chapter is taking a lot of time mostly because it's such an important one. It's... yeah, this is one of the turning points in Minato's character development. I want to do it justice. To stave off the wait, though, here's an extract:Minato sighs deeply as he settles down on a tree branch and takes a drink from his flask. Lunch with Azusa feels like it must have been an age ago, even though he knows it has only been three hours, maximum. He pulls out the map he and Azusa sketched of the area and crosses out another area. This type of mission should be painless. Tracking classes in the Academy always elicited a specific brand of bored comfort, and the reality isn’t all that different. Wild boars are hardly masters of deception.
