Chapter 1159: We meet Dragon as a 17 year old marine.
He is averse to fighting and harming innocent people. He has a pattern. I can't make it if it's an arm band or a tattoo.
Dragon finds Shanks mom.
Chapter 1066: 33 year old Dragon meeting Vegapunk (they already know each other) after the destruction of Ohara:
Vegapunk notes that Dragon is normally averse to war. The pattern that was previously on his armband is now on his leg. Dragon is the captain of a Freedom Fighters. The Revolutionaries were created as a response to the Oharan genocide. Dragon vows to create a military force capable of fighting the World Government.
Chapter 1087: While training with Kuzan, Garp expresses frustration at his son becoming a Revolutionary.
It's unclear if it is before the Oharan genocide or after. Dragon is not with the Marines when he arrives on Ohara. Kuzan was one of the Vice Admirals during the Buster Call on Ohara. But he and Garp spent years practicing 'Battleship Bags' until Kuzan's promotion to Admiral.
Chapter 1097: Kuma reads about Dragon in the papers. Later, Dragon and Ivankov recruit Bartholomew Kuma for the Revolutionary Army:
Same chapter, Dragon notes that the Revolutionary Army are still lacking in funds so they will have to act as a mercenary group for the time being.
^ Dragon mentions that he was in the Navy. There are multiple time jumps even within this narrative.
Chapter 565.5 (Chapter 0 Strong World tie in): Dragon is at Roger's execution. He doesn't have his face tattoo yet.
The events of the movie are not canon to the manga but flashback events showing Shiki and every one is indeed canon.
Chapter 142: 8 years ago, King Thalassa Lucas of the Illisa Kingdom in West Blue warns that Dragon will become a formidable enemy at that years Levely:
The pattern is now a face tattoo.
West Blue is home to many notable characters and locations including God Valley, Ohara, the Thrillerbark and is where Robin, Brook, Xebec, Shanks, Moria and the Thrillerbark pirates hail from. Link
Chapter 586: Dragon meets Sabo (Luffy's second adopted brother) in Goa Kingdom:
Dragon reveals that he was born in Goa Kingdom.
Chapter 587: Dragon rescues the inhabitants of Grey Terminal from the fire:
Chapter 1101: Dragon warns Kuma not to pry into his personal life because 'a child is their parents weakness'. This is a flashback within a flashback as Kuma is recalling a conversation he had with Dragon (either around the time of the Sabo flashback or before or after that) while checking up on Luffy himself during the period he was looking for a cure for Bonney's illness.
Chapter 794: Dragon rescues Sabo after the latter's boat got blown up by a Celestial Dragon:
The dialogue between Dragon and Sabo when they first meet is different from 794 than in 586.
We see the same scene from a different perspective in Chapter 589 with the Revolutionaries having gotten supplies from a nearby village, (which also happened to be Zoro's hometown 'Shimotsuki Village').
Back to Chapter 794, Sabo wakes up but he has no memory of Luffy or Ace:
Chapter 1097: Dragon finds out Ginny has been kidnapped.
Chapter 1098: The Revolutionaries learn that Ginny was kidnapped by one of the Celestial Dragons. Kuma goes ham looking for her:
Chapter 1098: Dragon and the other Revolutionaries finally hears from Ginny but it's too late:
Chapter 1098: Dragon allows Kuma to leave the Revolutionaries for a bit so he can focus on looking for a cure for Bonney's illness:
Chapter 539: Iva asks Dragon why he is always looking East:
Chapter 1099: Kuma's search for a cure for Bonney's illness is proving futile. He and Dragon meet each other again.
Kuma and Dragon catch up as Kuma looks for a cure for Bonney's illness. This is around the same time Kuma secretly checks up on Luffy before the latter became a pirate.
Dragon mentions Sabo and Koala and that Ivankov and Inazuma is in Impel Down. Dragon suggests that Kuma contact Dr Vegapunk regarding Bonney's illness.
