I wanted each of them to have a royal outfit inspired by a specific European era (since Germa is inspired by France). I also tried to give each one something unique; I’m tired of identical outfits for twins... or quadruplets, in this case.
Royal: Reiju’s look had to be sexy (given the poison theme—a mix of seduction and sabotage) yet understated. That is why her dress features a hip-level cut typical of the medieval era, but modernized with a side slit.
Hero suit: Reiju's job involves assassination through seduction, so she needed to retain an insect-like essence—reflecting her poison abilities—which is why her sleeves resemble butterfly wings. I kept the skirt short but added tall boots to balance the look.
Royal: Ichiji’s style is entirely modern; he needed to project leadership and power, as he is the kingdom's heir.
Hero suit: Ichiji is the strategist and leader, so his suit needed to be intimidating; that’s why it features more sharp, angular elements than the others.
Royal: For Niji, I drew inspiration from his transformation suit—specifically the chest design—which I wanted to retain; I incorporated it into his prince’s outfit, taking cues from 17th- and 18th-century fashion.
Hero suit: Niji is the fastest of the five siblings (thanks to electricity), so I added wheels to emphasize that trait.
Royal: Sanji embodies the "old-school Disney prince" aesthetic, with puffed sleeves reminiscent of the 16th century. I played with the concept of a prince who is supposed to rescue the princess, yet is the one who actually needs rescuing.
Hero suit: Sanji wears his transformation device on his chest, as he is the sibling who retained his emotions. His role is infiltration, so his suit is the most understated of them all.
Royal: Yonji’s look is medieval, but I took more creative liberties; he doesn't adhere to strict rules of etiquette, which fits his character perfectly.
Hero suit: Yonji is the strongest; he wears a mecha-like suit and grows to a height of around two and a half meters. He fights on the front lines, and his job is to crush enemy armies.
