If I had recommend my favourite Two-Face comics that are character studies, I'd pick Eye of the Beholder (Batman Annual #14), The Beautiful Ugly parts 1 to 3 (Legends of the Dark Knight 2012 #56 - #58), and A Tale of Three Halves parts 1 to 3 (The backup story in Detective Comics #1065 - 1067).

I struggle with the opposite of borrowed grief. I feel like I have to leave an experience I cherish in order to engage with it and miss it and mourn it and love it properly.
