My analysis of the drama with Ashley and Micheal
Before I get into this, I am not black, so take this with a grain of salt. This is not supposed to be me taking sides in any way either, its just me gathering information. I am not calling either side dramatic.
Recently a clip from a VOD of Ashley Nichols and Micheal Kovach saying "nega", which sounds like the N-slur, has been circling around the TADC fandom. In this analysis, I will be discussing both sides of this story on 2 different accounts.
"People change!"
Yes, believe it or not, people do change! It was 7 years ago, and that is more than enough time to learn from your mistakes and make things better. It seems kind of suspicious how the fandom found this clip right after it was announced that TADC would be in theaters.
However, they also had 7 years to take accountability for said action. That is more than enough time to address it and apologize. It seems suspicious that they only apologized when the fans started hating.
"They are racist!"
The definition of racism stems from antagonizing, discriminating, or being plain rude towards another ethnic group just for being said ethnic group. The only thing Ashley and Micheal said was a shortened form of "negative" while reading out a username. That isnt antagonizing anyone.
However, the joke DID go too far. The N-slur, over the years, has been deeply rooted in racism, being used to insult, mock, or discriminate against certain ethnicities, and many people were triggered from the joke. While the word "nega" itself isnt problematic, the meaning behind the joke was.
I just felt like making an analysis so tell me if any of my points are not true

IVE COME FROM MY ROCK WITH NEWS AND ART
News first, I am now working for an OBJECT SHOW!!
About the object show:
The object show is called Battle For A Sandwich, or BFAS for short. It has 15 contestants competing for the best sandwich in the UNIVERSE! the characters are:
Bip & Bop, the hosts (they are puzzle pieces, twins and also aliens)
And im too lazy to write about all the characters so here's a screenshot
(P.S the descriptions and team names are kind of outdated)
Well, what's my job in this show, you may ask?
Im a voice actor... for DOG BOWL!! because I fangirled too close to the sun and fangirled enough to voice act them.
Due to raid reasons, the discord server will be DM only as to not attract any randos or bots that are meant to blindly click links and spam in them.
If you want to work for this show, this is what you can do!
-animator
-storyboarder
-script writer
-bg artist
-music artist
-and more that I cant remember at the top of my head!
(P.s, all of the characters have talented voice actors already, so you cant do VAing, loser.)
THIS SHOW IS UNPAID.
Bye, friends!
