More compare and contrast, look at how much progress I’ve made!
Three days ago while watching Power Rangers DinoCharge I redrew my oldest Power Rangers idea from Childhood. I made them shortly after I learned about THe Big Five animals back when I lived in Botswana round, I dunno, 2003? 2004?
Anyhow, no pictures from that time period survived but Had kept occasionally trying after that Heck, here’s one from 2008:
Anyhow, as the story goes, Reggie Thomas, an anthropology student working on his masters took a summer trip to south africa where he discovered a temple with 5 jewels in front of it. Out of curiosity, he took the jewels and a great evil escaped the temple, threatening to corrupt the world’s animals and take the world.
Through his research Reggie was able to use the gems to create morphers so he could make Power rangers to defeat the evil.. While home, his younger sister, Katie had brought home a small group of losers she was trying to help and they accidentally found and bonded with the crystals, completely against Reggie’s plans (He wanted to get people actually qualified to be rangers like cops or something). Now he’s stuck with these tenagers to try to save the world.
Tommy, the Red Lion Ranger, is a handsome athletic guy who is terribly awkward and has only a few friends.
Ben, the Black Rhino Ranger, is Tommy’s best friend, a quiet and cautious soul, very good at math and science.
Max, the Blue Elephant Ranger, is Tommy’s younger brother, an excitable and nosy kid who is more interested in fighting bad guys than the rest of the team.
MAge, the Purple Buffalo Ranger, whose real name is Magdalene, is a stand-offish goth who prefers her solitude and her spooky interests, she doesn’t like any of the others and only was around them becuase she tutors Ben on history and English and he tutors her on Math and Science.
Katie, the Yellow Leopard Ranger, is the most socially balanced and well-adjusted of the mall, she’s a popular cheerleader who is active in the community, volunteering and generally being a good person. Her selflessness extends to her fellow students and what she saw an in Mage, Tommy, and Ben were people who were exiled and needed to be brought in, to be involved,.people who could be so much more if given the chance.
