Credit to @fullhouseofroyals : I’m proud of this week’s training. And, I’m also really tired. 🤪 . Training yesterday called for 60min run & 2100M swim. But also yesterday, my morning took an unexpected turn to where I couldn’t even begin workouts until about lunchtime. 🤷🏻♀️ . I kinda was ok with it. I kinda was starting to use it as a crutch to scrap it. I kinda was building a case to take the day off. I kinda almost did. Almost. . It is so much easier to quit. But not quitting feels so much better. 👊🏼 . My dog walk turned into a run. And although my time was limited, I thought 1 of 2 workouts would be good. But then I remembered I had new goggles and swag from @newnewwaveswimbuoy 🤩 I decided right then that modifying both workouts were better than doing zero. . So, because I did exactly 2/3rds of both. 40 min run & 1440M swim in a compressed time slot and got back just minutes before kids did from school. . It was a training win. And a mom win. Lol. And, I made sure to wear my red to support our Coogs. . . If you feel like you just don’t wanna, dig deep and do SOMETHING. It is then that you need it most. You’ll feel so much better for it and likely will push harder once you get started. . What are you doing TODAY?? Go get it!! 🏊🏼♀️🚴🏻♀️🏋🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️🧘🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️ .
