Let’s face it, Drew would be the best dad. I bet M would have loved him as well.

My first try at recording a speedpaint! :D Honestly this is the happiest I’ve drawn G in a long time. It’s nice.
Here is a pose reference i made for Mech/Dr. Octopus tentacles. It is also an expression sheet since this form conveys expression mostly by movement.
I needed to make a base reference for the future bc drawing these robo noodles can be so diffucult without direction.
I decided to make Mech's aperture pupil movable instead of the usual dead eye stare bc it was hard to convey emotion without it. Other tentacle ai's such as Appen probably dont need that as much bc they are quite stoic while mech is very expressive.
I will add more notes, ink and color it later, although i'm thinking of redesigning mech a bit to convey his origins connected to the P.R.D.X. robots in my LEGO Universe fanfic.
I still adore the SSM design as the best canon design for the tentacles (aside from animation inconsistencies). Its just so sleek. I'd like to keep the "arrow" markings if i can blend it with the new design somehow.
Drawing has been difficult recently but i wanted to make sure i doodled something for Pride Month.
Dump #1 of some digital art i made recently. I’ll be sure to post more soon!
haaa....i finally finished it....
assembly forever
this was originally supposed to be Inktober #28: Gift, but its late december now so... XD
thank you for appreciating my art
Art Influences
Hello! I thought it would to share some of the artists/art styles ive learned the most from and that have influenced my style the most! (Maybe eventually I’ll do one of those art style challenges.)
1. Kazuki Takahashi – Yu-gi-oh! (Basically my go-to. Reading and copying from Yu-gi-oh! Was what really kickstarted my art.)
2. Cheeks-74 https://www.deviantart.com/cheeks-74 – Spectacular Spiderman (A very smooth non-anime style that taught me a lot about form and figure. Great for lots of dynamic poses.)
3. Ken Sugimori – Pokemon (Drawing Pokemon is way more difficult than the human characters though. Great for learning new things and getting out of old habits.)
4 . Bechnokid https://www.deviantart.com/bechnokid @bechnokid – (Pokemon gijinkas and facial expression. They are incredible.)
5. Hayao Miyazaki – Studio Ghibli movies (What can I say? This man is the master. I really love the simplistic, old anime styles)
Other good ones:
Club Penguin (I used to draw my own CP fancomics and that taught me a lot about basic formatting)
Naoko Takeuchi – “Sailor Moon”
Hiroyuki Takei – Shaman King (hair)
Bakugan – (clothes)
Kaoru Mori – “Emma” (intricate details)
Rebecca Sugar – Steven Universe (facial expressions)
Overwatch (Basically my dream art style. Everything is so amazing.)
LEGO – (For shapes and minfigs I guess.)
Little Witch Academia – (I absolutely adore the art style uugnnhhggh so cute.)
(tagging @bobbricksart. XP sorry i didnt write you here but i’m not constantly copying things from your style. It must be a friends-dont-copy-friends thing. XP I really love your art style though)
Hello! this is my first time doing commissions so I hope they work out ok. I apologize if the rez of the examples isn’t clear i had to shrink down the pics some.
I’m free to message anytime and i’ll be sure to reply back to any messages i get! Thanks!
