Something people don’t talk about when mentioning the god David theory is how fucking terrifying it is from Gregory’s perspective. Imagine, you are forced to share your mind with somebody/something that you are not. Completely unable to fight back against whatever it is that has you in its grasp.

Even if it’s not doing anything necessarily harmful, having your entire personality altered by something that wants your mind is terrifying. Filling your mind with terrifying events that have never happened to you but feel as if it’s happened. From Gregory’s perspective he is going through some of the most terrifying fucking body horror I’ve ever heard of.
