some of you didn't watch the steven spielberg masterpiece "A.I." in your formative years and it shows
you ever get kept up at night like three days after watching a movie trying to work out logistics that you know the writing team didn’t bother deciding on an answer for?
EX: I watched AI: Artificial Intelligence the other night and i’m still working out who profits from the work of Jude Law’s “lover robot” character. He doesn’t seem to report back to anyone, but no one owns him, and we don’t see him getting paid.
Why was he built? Did someone buy and send out independent sex worker robots just to give random ladies a good time for no actual return? Are there people in the world of A.I. who just like. are robot pimps. is robot pimp a career?
I know. I just KNOW. that we aren’t supposed to ask this question. But what is it... WHAT IS THE ANSWER? why would a capitalist society build a robot without a plan for profit. or at least a plan to break-even.
I’m so fucking tired y’all. I was up so late last night studying then another good half-hour at least considering this.
serve all you want you will not serve as much cunt as jude law as Gigolo Joe A.I
I'm developing a real hyperfixation on A.I. I've realized (the movie from 2001) like not so much the second half but the first half about the android boy and his bear. I had a wild hair about making my own version of Teddy because his only official merch is like 100 dollars. He wont have animatronics bc i dont know anything about those but he can be poseable.
watching ai (2001)
I was 7 when I last saw this film, and it is JUST AS FUCKING SCARY
