this is about investments and savings accounts with warlocks and will probably be boring but just hear me out...
So TODAY I was learning about investments and like savings accounts... and it got me thinking: this must be how most old warlocks are super rich. (Malcom and Tessa and ragnor and Magnus at least.) Like obviously they all have jobs but I was thinking if a warlock opened a savings account and put like idk 1000 dollars in it in like 1960 and didn’t touch it until like 2000... THEY PROBABLY MADE A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY... so maybe this can explain why magnus seems to just be like That Bitch along with being expensive to hire, he also owns property (Paris apartment, French safehouse, Brooklyn apartment, who knows where else) and likely has long-term investments that pay out every so often and all he has to do is wait 40ish years
