I wonder how the Scholomance will deal with Ty being away in TLKOF. Like, I’m pretty sure he’s not going to be on break because from the snippets we have, something seems to come up suddenly and he leaves as quickly as possible (couldn’t even pack a rain coat).

i know the answer is because of plot but legitimately have we received even one word somewhat explaining why ragnor thought it was a good idea to not inform a single person about the necromancy ritual he was actively supervising two deeply traumatized and grieving 15 year old boys in performing? not even the people who specifically asked him to watch over one of those boys?

the way he said "i'm only helping you because i know if i don't you'll find a sketchier and less-safe way" but then decided pulling the rug at the last second by withholding one (1) ingredient easily available for purchase elsewhere would be sufficient to prevent the ritual???? bestie what happened??
