In the great mystery we call life, everything comes with ease with God’s guidance. However, there are forces that drive us away from the light. If we allow evil to prevail and take over us, our patience would run so thin that we attack all the good things in this world with cynicism and spite. The past few days, there's this certain thought that really muddled me up. My husband and I decided to permanently move to his hometown in Pampanga. It was one of the toughest decision I had to make - leaving home. And by leaving home, it meant that I have to leave also my current job. For the past three months, I have accepted the fact that I have to leave home, but to leave my work? It was tough. Luckily, I received this job offer from this certain company located in his hometown. One thursday night, I was so determined to file my resignation the next day, but before doing so, I asked God if I was doing the right thing. The next morning, I woke up with a heavy heart, separation anxiety hit me so hard. I cried buckets of tears that morning that I have to call in sick to work. Suddenly, I felt so confused I really do not know what to do. So I gave it another day to rethink it all through. I asked my parents, my husband, my siblings what to do. We prayed and asked God for signs and answers. After much considerable thought, I have declined the offer. I know it wasn't for me. Blessed that I am, there had been recent transitions and lateral movements at work, and I was given the opportunity to transfer to Pampanga branch! Meaning, I won't have to leave my company just to move in to his hometown. God is indeed so good! :)
„He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.“
