((I'd like to make a shout-out to @godcomplexapartments , all the members of their AU, and their discord server.
I'd been following their stuff for a bit and got involved a little.
When I saw the discord server, I took a shot in the dark, and jumped in even though I didn't belong. I would've happily left if they told me to. But they gave me a chance, and let me stay.
Because of that, I'm getting to know some great people and am having fun.
