There is a deep scowl at the threat to his Lamborghini, one of the very few cars that he actually had a deep fondness for and took great care of. The last thing he ever wanted to consider was either Mole being killed or that car being blown to pieces by C4. Grumbling a little, the Briton picks up the blueprints again in order to go over them.
“One would think you don’t trust my judgement, Mole.” he’s not really serious in what he says.

In his defense, he was so utterly thrown off by the fact that Christophe had put in two days and nights worth of work to create a bread suit that he’d actually forgotten about the entire ‘God’ issue with his friend. Could anyone really blame him for that? The jab to his chest, which actually makes him step back due to the throw to his balance, gets a blink from those blue eyes.
Coolly, he reaches up and pushes the other teen’s finger from his chest with a frown on his lips.
“I reiterate: Why the hell would you want to get into a crouton expo?” hopefully his invocation of the opposite of the offensive word would soothe the Mole’s anger. Nevermind that this was HIS house and he could bloody well say ‘God’ if he wanted to.

It’s not exactly a secret that Gregory isn’t great in the kitchen. Not great but not apocalypse levels of ‘we’re all going to die’ either. Some dishes he could not make to save his life and others he was only decent with. For this particular one, however, he’d been practicing on it. Truthfully he had been practicing on a couple but this one especially.
This is probably why he didn’t hear Christophe when the other man entered the lavishly sized kitchen where he was working, a couple of the cats trailing behind him.

It was the usual aspect of the night. He’d found a new target and was currently attempting to learn everything that could be found out about them. Gregory would not risk potentially taking out those that had done no wrong to society at large. So for tonight this particular police chief that has his interest is safe, if only for tonight.
So engrossed in this, he almost doesn’t notice the weight that suddenly presses down on his shoulder. A pause, his head turns and Gregory finds that Mole has placed his head down upon his shoulder. It would be good to leave him be, as the man already did not get enough sleep.
With little more than a silent smile, Gregory brings one hand up to pet through Christophe’s hair while he goes back to his work.
