Thank you @bigtiddythanos for the tag. Hope you don't mind me posting this on my writing blog. My sentence is from Goddess Dead, so it just helps me keep track of stuff.
RULES: Post the last sentence you wrote (fanfic / original / anything), and tag as many people as there are words in the sentence.
It’s the least I can do, and it’s less than they deserve.

Here are seven lines from my most recently drafted chapter of Goddess Dead (Ch. 16: The Wind Sings):
“I’ve never been accused of being ardent before.”
“I don’t need to tell you that disillusionment is often just as much about hope as it is about disappointment,” she replies, her words cutting across my cheek.
“You put too much faith in me.”
“You don’t put enough in yourself.”
“Maybe.” My hands find a loose thread on my pant leg and tug on it absentmindedly. “Compared to how long you’ll live, how many lives you’ll touch, and everything you’ll do—I can’t imagine my accomplishments mean much to you.”
Happy STS! If you had to throw one of your characters into another world, which one would you choose? Would they thrive or hate it?
Thank you @toribookworm22 for the ask. (I hope you don't mind that I copy-pasted, so that I could answer this on my writing Tumblr vs. my personal.)
TW: allusions to murder, emergecy room scenario, mentions of police, blood, rabies, heart faliure, delirium/hallucinations, ghosts, demons, and burns scars/scars in general.
I really had to think about this one. There are so many OCxworld combinations that could be really fun and silly and/or really tragic. (Some of the others I've considered are Eliott in Steven Universe and Acon in The Last of Us.) If I had to throw one of my OCs into another world, I would throw Dr. Dante "Day" Huerta from Goddess Dead into the @morvantmortuary universe.
Why? Because I'm a huge fan, and how fucking funny would it be to have a shy werewolf with a savoir complex working as a doctor in Greymoon, Louisiana's local ER?
Like, just, hear me out, okay? Someone fucks up (we're not naming names), and a mortuary victim gets away. He stumbles, bloodied and broken into the ER. He's ranting and raving about monsters in the woods. Ghosts in the cemetery. Demons. Undertakers, etc. The nurses write him off as having a bad trip or a severe mental-break, but the cops are called just to be safe.
Of course, the new, emergency doctor—Dr. Huerta—sees the truth and the danger behind the patient's frenzied tale.
(I don't have a faceclaim for Day, so imagine a chicano man with long, dried-seaweed-brown hair with streaks of silver, thin lips, and 3 long, raking scars across the right side of his face. When he smiles, only the left corner lilts up.)
There are others here in Greymoon, he realizes. People like him, who have been touched—consumed by the darkest parts of this world and the next. And, if they are discovered, then it's only a matter of time before Dante is discovered, or worse his partner. He promised himself he'd never do this, never hurt anyone, but he has to. He has to protect himself. He has to protect the people he loves. He has to.
A growl, deep and hungry, itches along his throat. He removes his gloves, revealing heavy burn-scars, and ties his hair back with the hair tie around his wrist. He asks the nurse to fetch some more gauze. She leaves. He locks the door, and he gets to work.
The police don't show up until the patient is already dead. He suffered anemia-related heart failure, and he was rabies-positive, so sad. Don't mind that the patient has more flesh wounds then he entered the facility with, it was a simple miscount. It's very difficult to do a complete body-scan when a patient is in the throes of late-stage rabies-induced delirium. Yes, those are claw marks; obviously, a large animal did this. Don't worry. We'll notify animal control. Nothing else to see here.
The next day, a box of the cheapest store-bought, frosted sugar cookies appears outside the mortuary's front-door with a "Get Well Soon" card which reads:
I took care of your problem. Please, be more careful next time. - Day

You can do this for yourself or a character, if you'd like. I’m using this as a chance to do some character exploration for Eliott from Goddess Dead.
1. Are you named after anyone?
Not that I’m aware of.
2. When was the last time you cried?
...Last night. I don’t want to talk about it. I—
Yeah.
3. Do you have kids?
I hope not.
4. Do you use sarcasm?
Yes. Often. Some might say too often, but those people don’t know how to have a good time.
5. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Hm. Their hair, or some other physical trait—one they have control over. What people wear, how they style their hair, tattoos, clothes, and jewelry—you can learn a lot about someone based on how they present themselves, which isn’t to say that I think there’s a “right” way to present yourself, or that everyone needs to be “clean,” “perfect,” and “professional.” Absolutely fucking not, it’s just...
I enjoy how people decorate themselves. Colors, gems—every symbol has a purpose or meaning for someone, even if that meaning is as simple as “I like it.”
For instance, Will has golden, sunburst tattoos, and Ro wears a lot of gifted necklaces—all overlapping each other, but they never tangle. It’s interesting.
6. What's your eye color?
Brown, like mud or burnt-earth.
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
What’s a movie?
8. Any special talents?
I...Huh. I might actually have to think on that one. Aside from magick? I’ve been told that I’m very good at packing a picnic basket and dressing to impress. I honestly don’t think I’m particularly talented. Lucky, yes. Talented? Debatable.
There are a lot of things I wish I was better at.
9. Where were you born?
Eigear: a farming village in The Stohst that’s known for its pine nuts and superstition. Our only doctor believed in blood-letting and likely drank himself to death.
10. What are your hobbies?
I enjoy tinkering with anything magick. I like figuring out how, what, and why enchantments tick and trying out new spells. If I’m being honest, I can entertain myself for hours that way. Unfortunately, working with magick theoretically for the Court has soured my joy a bit.
11. Have you any pets?
Nope, and—before you say it—Octavius is not a pet.
12. What sports do you play/have played?
My favorite sport growing up was “Outrun the Cops,” and I was very good at it.
13. How tall are you?
Tall enough. I usually end up resting my arms on people’s shoulders during hugs.
14. Favorite subject in school?
Bold of you to assume I went to school. ;) Everything I know, I learned from my mother and Auntie—
...Enchanter Brekaven.
15. Dream job?
Archmage. It’ll never happen, but could you imagine me being in charge of the King’s Arcane Court? I’d burn that place to the ground.

Your phrase is: Well, aren't you just adorable.
Excerpt from Goddess Dead, Ch. 5: Rain and Snow.
My phrase was:
Whatcha gonna do about it?
Ez shrugged, their clever smile dazzling despite a few missing teeth. “Rat probably stole it.” Their slim fingers procured my matches from under their ass, and they struck one against the box—watching it burn. “Musta been a big one too.”

Goddess Dead Ch. 15 (No Title Yet)(Current Word Count: ~1,000 words)
The twisted angles of the flower’s reforged, metal walls fracture the surrounding torch-light—casting hungry shadows over the crane eager to lower us into the ground. A few people in gray jumpsuits wait with us, shrugging into heavy tool-belts and nursing mugs of steaming coffee.
“Listen up!” I straighten my back as a pixie wearing a dusty-rose hijab addresses us from in front of a large, wooden board covered in bells. She holds her arms behind her back, shoulders square and dark-brown eyes piercing. A young, sun-scarred man with a perpetual grin stands at her left, translating for Ty. “I am Team Three Captain, Sehrish Din. You will call me Captain Din. Am I understood?”

“What are your cities or towns like? Feel free to talk about the layouts or the people or the architecture, etc. and to talk about more than one if you'd like!”
Thank you for the awesome ask, @toribookworm22, and sorry for the late reply.
Oh boy, oh boy! It really depends on where you are, and Goddess Dead spans multiple cities and countries, so there’s something for everybody. For simplicity sake, I’ll focus on my favorite city—specifically my favorite district in my favorite city: Hervas’ Pleasure District.
Hervas is the capital of Hervaskor which is Lea, Aisha, Acon, and Eliott’s home-country. It’s where the majority of Arc One′s action is centered. The city as a whole is built into the mountains, and it’s comprised of various districts and quarters that have their own architectural ~vibes~ going on. For example, purposeful dilapidation is very common in the Mage Quarter; masons are often hired to build that which only magick can keep together. As a result, the entire quarter looks like a trampled field of sunflowers—their white, stone stems fighting for dominance amid the stretch and curl of sun-yellow roofs.
Most of Hervas’ districts are very noticeably affluent (or certainly more affluent that the smaller, farming villages in The Stohst) except for the Pleasure District, or The Underground—called that by it’s residents because it is entirely underground.
The Pleasure District’s primary entrance/exit is a heavy-policed, gated-off, gondola lift called Surface Station. The district is called the Pleasure District because its main thoroughfare, Magelight Street, is populated mainly by bars and brothels. As a whole, the Pleasure District is where you go to find things and acquire services that those on The Surface feel they are too “high-class” to provide—which can be anything from oddities, deli meats, or magick teas to abortions. The businesses aren’t the shiniest, especially due to The Underground’s ever-twilight, but they’re all small and locally-owned.
The streets are made of packed earth and broken cobblestone, and the buildings are squashed together among the vein-like brick, back-alleys pulsing throughout the district. Some buildings have lichen growing on their sides, but the only people able to keep fully-fledged gardens underground are either magick-wielders or those who can hire magick-wielders.
My favorite place in the Pleasure District is The Campground which isn’t a campground at all; it’s an old, abandoned theater that Hervas’ many homeless youths (mostly 13-18 year olds) call home including Eliott once upon a time.
“Heya, happy STS! For a story of your choice, what's your protagonist's worst nightmare? Does it come into play in the story?”
Thank you @words-after-midnight for the awesome ask! <3
For Goddess Dead, Eliott’s greatest fear is being alone, or—more specifically—being alone due to the death or grievious injury of loved ones. This fear stems from when they lost their mother due to an illness which magick could not save her from, and it’s only followed them as they’ve gotten older. They understand that death happens, that war is happens—injury, disease, accidents, etc. Everyone they’ve ever loved will one day die (excluding Rowen, maybe), but they are terrified of sudden loss—of being powerless to save people, and this fear comes into play and is made real many times throughout the narrative.
