Goddess Dead. Novel (Series). Genre: Speculative fiction, specifically post-apocalyptic fantasy with some Queer romance thrown in for flavor.

An orphan from Hervas’ underground Pleasure District, Mage Eliott Fauve is disillusioned with the magick-politics of King Lenien’s Arcane Court and determined to learn more about the Ancients: a long-lost civilization whose cultural monoliths are magick-resistant. When the neighboring country of Theraele unearths a new artifact, Eliott joins the excavation effort alongside their friends: the guard-captain and archivist power couple, Aisha and Lea Ishii, and Mage-Ambassador Carus Acon. Together, they uncover forgotten truths and make strange, new friends, but when the endeavor turns deadly, Eliott discovers just what they’re willing to lose in order to change the world.

Use the list of words that are being censored at the National Science Foundation and create a list of materials at your work that you think might be at risk for destruction. Back everything you can up on a hard drive and remove it from the institution.
TIFF files are great, but we are going for quantity, not quality here - copy as much as you can. Keep it somewhere safe and be careful who you tell about these copies. Save what you can.
I don't mean sexualizing us or watching trans porn.
I don't mean treating trans mascs like "uwu soft baby boy" and trans femmes as "yass queen girl boss".
I don't mean expecting praise for using the right pronouns and using incorrect ones when "they're a bad trans person".
I mean ACTUAL SUPPORT.
Donate to trans shelters or organizations. DON'T out us to people we aren't out to. Go to protests if you're able, FIGHT ALONGSIDE US. Don't bring us around people you know are transphobic or dangerous, the list goes on. The LGBTQ community is ALL of us not just some of us.
Trans people who are documented as trans on government documents are currently not able to get passports - whether or not they accept their passport being issued as their birth sex, any indication that you're trans on a document that can be accessed by the government is being used as reason to deny a passport.
This is incredibly alarming. Even agreeing to be labeled as your birth sex is not sufficient. They want to deny trans people the ability to leave the country. Any possible reason for this is horrifying.
We need to rally now. Protect the entire community, do not allow them to throw any of us under the bus. None of us will be spared, they're just coming for the most vulnerable people first, and soon enough the most vulnerable people will be YOU.
As of Jan 21st, 2025, a full copy of the constitution is no longer available on whitehouse.gov. I feel like this is a good time to remind everyone that the biggest threat to authoritarianism and facism is a well educated and informed population. Inform yourself and fight.

Hell, some of you might not even need to wait until midterms because of 2025 special elections. Every seat in the House that is projected to be up for grabs is red.
It should also be noted that turnout for "off year" elections is almost always lower, and House Speaker Mike Johnson is already contending with one of the narrowest margins in US history. If House Republicans want to successfully further Trump's agenda, they need to be in lockstep because there is next to no room for defection.

Donald Trump wants people to expose diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the federal government. The idea is already flopping.
The threat was loud and clear: Report your so-called “DEI” employees or else. What exactly “DEIA or similar ideologies” means is up in the air, but the message was out there. And so was the email address of the DEIA snitching hotline.

The scope and effectiveness of this latest phase of Trump’s anti-DEI crusade remains to be seen.
