Not long ago, Lydia was a twentysomething slacker - not satisfied with her life, but not bothered enough to actually *do* something about it. Then she got amazing superhuman powers, and her life changed forever.

Then she started getting *more* power. And more. And her life kept changing, and changing, and now, Lydia, seemingly the supreme being of the entire universe, is sorting desperately through her own past, trying to figure out what went wrong…

Hey so a long time ago (a year is a long time, right?) I did a thing.and wrote a story. It was about a goddess and anxiety and the struggle to find your place in the world, and other random stuff like that.

Then I decided to hide it because I thought I was going to sell it.

But I’m really bad at things like that, and if I do sell it it’s going to be a remastered version anyway, as an eBook.

So hey, I have something to give away for 500 followers, have a free blog-novel if you never saw it before. Or maybe re-read it if you want - I won’t judge.

Supposedly some people even liked it.

Maybe we can get that fanfic tag to have something after all.

Does anyone feel like reading over the NEW AND IMPROVED version of Correspondence from the Goddess? I'm looking for a handful of people to look over it and offer some feedback before I take the manuscript to the next step.

It doesn't matter if you read the original version or not - I'd appreciate input from both groups, honestly. (Please let me know though, as I'd like to get a bit of feedback from both groups if possible.

Hey, is there anyone out there who is still looking to read Correspondence right now? I'm debating putting the blog on private while I finish up the rework, but if someone is planning on/currently reading it I hate to get in the way.

Shameless promotion time!

Hello to all my followers, especially the new ones. This is just a friendly reminder that I write a lot of things, and my primary project is Correspondence From the Goddess, a weekly serial fiction piece that's published right here on Tumblr.

Correspondence is the story of Lydia Devin, the woman who destroyed the universe and put it back together again. She, along with her sister Elana, have been discussing what happened, how it happened, and trying to come to terms with just who or what Lydia really is.

I've been updating this for almost two years now - Monday was episode #100, and the story is winding down. My goal is to wrap things up at #104 and have things complete right at the two-year mark. There's also a helpful index page My readers seem to be enjoying it, so if you have even a passing interest in superheroes, gods, urban fantasy stories, or solid female characters, I would really appreciate it if you gave it a chance and let me know what you think!
