~#16: A Minor Snaffu~

Dear Friends.

 I have reached the first communication kerfuffle in my collaboration. Look upon of our first photoshoot:

This is clearly NOT the Dictates of my Visioning.

But I had such a promising meeting with my Obviously Deeply Misguided Benefactors. How did we begin by emphasizing the importance of honesty, of being a message and light in the world, and arrive at this?:

Where is the interplay between nature and industry? Where is the gentle interplay of pastel and light? Where is this located in our great city, for it is certainly not the Gowanus Canal, or indeed any urban vista that underscores the city’s intertwining with the earth.

It was an oversight on my part to let the production team from UNNAMED BRAND to oversee this on their own, but they were so certain that they had a solid grasp on our vision that I let them. I shall not make this mistake again, I shall not allow others to convince me that they can be the same kind of visionary as myself.

I wrote a e-missive to my lead producer to clarify the issue. I believe that this will resolve the issue post-haste, and not a moment too soon, for our shoot is in a matter of days.

This is what I was writing on the sidewalk when someone drove by and yelled “loser” from his car. So, I got to explain to my 3 children, who were with me, that some people have a lot of hate in their hearts and would say and do hateful things when they see (whether with their eyes or not) that someone was putting something loving out into the world. That they are high vibe kids (all born on holidays), and it’s our job to put light and love into the world whether there are consequences such as these or not. Honestly, it’s hard to feel like I have it in me to be a good example sometimes, but I know that it’s my responsibility. I didn’t show anger, but the little ones got upset enough (sensitive kids get it whether you let it surface or not) that I couldn’t fully get my thoughts out on the matter. Still, the many people walking past our house will see this. It’s my intention that they absorb it into their souls and that it ripples out to create bigger waves of love in the world.
