As Jesus landed, He saw a great crowd waiting, and He was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things. Mark 6:34 AMPC I have always loved these lyrics by Casting Crowns. They are such a beautiful portrayal of how Christians should be acting. As I read the above verse in Mark yesterday, it hit me even harder. It brought the rioters to mind. I have seen many posts on Fb voicing disgust and anger at them. This should not be. We should be moved with compassion and pray for them sincerely.
