OMG I wondered whether I would have another GODOS moment today. Well who began the Melbourne Cup Day coverage - none other than Rachel Griffiths - Burning Man - Matthew Goode - (pretty intense interactions!!!) Rachel has bought the rights - producing directing a Movie on last year’s winner Michelle Payne - the first woman jockey to Win the 155th Melbourne Cup on a 100 to One Horse Prince of Penzance a six year old gelding she had ridden many times. She has had a dream since age 7 to win the Melb Cup. She is the youngest of 10 children from a horse training country Victorian family. Her mother was killed in a car accident when she was six months old. Michelle’s beloved brother Stevie that she lives with has Down Syndrome he is a strapper and was of her horse on the day. After a mega hug with him when she hopped off the horse she sprayed male chauvinism and all those who had dumped or mistreated her in the racing industry by saying “I want to say to everyone else, get stuffed because women can do anything and we can beat the world”….. A moment in Australian folklore now - a Champion of Women and 2016 Winner of Australia’s Sport Hall of Fame Don Award. Her life has changed forever. After Another life threatening fall earlier this year, she will ride in two races today. WHAT a movie it will make. It is being filmed over this Cup Week. Beautiful - way left field goode GODOS moment- had to share♡♡ This Nation stops for Melbourne Cup⁉ I am one of those who only have anything to do with Racing over this week!!!Love the fashion too! The emotion and aftermath of last year’s win was something to behold and still resonates! I LOOK forward to the Movie??? 💕 🐎🎩👒👠🍾 Go GODOS❣

My GODOS moment this morning- so far?! Tom Hiddleston with bag on Insta - of course reminded me of Goodey & goode bag post from @pleasereadmeok I think?! As well as from the memory bank - a screencap of Goodey talking in June on Good Morning Britain about the possible new Bond and Tom was mentioned- I had not heard of him before that??!!
