The girl who served me asked how I was doing and I replied, "You know honestly, pretty crappy... but it's ice cream so it'll get better right?" She smiled and said that it's on her because I'm not having the best day. I was totally disarmed. Kindness isn't always easily found especially when you're not looking for it.
