What Fruit are you showing? Is it Bitter or Sweet? John 15:5 says that Jesus is the Vine and we are the Branches. That means that the Vine and Branches have to be connected, joined together. They are as ONE! When we are being Holy Spirit led, we are producing Sweet Fruit. We are acting and re-acting according to God's Word and ways. But if we are Flesh Led, by our Mind, Will, and Emotions, we produce Bitter Fruit, because what is stored in our hearts comes out! It's the hurts, wounds, offenses, bitterness and unforgiveness, and more that skews our thinking. Thank you Papa God that it's through YOUR strength that we pull through life's situations! Some people think it is all about them, being strong, being a survivor and proud of that. The reality is, being a survivor is elevating ourselves to God's level, saying we don't need anyone, including God, that we can do it on our own. But God never wanted any one of us to do it on our own! That's why He gave Adam Eve, it's why He had the disciples go together, two by two. God didn't even make the animals that went on Noah's Ark to go alone, even though they needed 2 to reproduce, but you get what I'm saying. So, thank you God, that you give us YOUR strength, that You pull us through to Victory! It's not about us, it's about You and giving you all the glory! Amen!
