Real Talk! Marley comes home yesterday with tearful eyes and a tale as old as time, of a mean girl, being mean (aka Jealous). So, I had the talk... again. Another of those painful parental talks about Reality and how this struggle is just beginning for her. How she will deal with bitter, jealous, miserable people for the rest of her life. How it actually never changes and then a laundry list of tips to overcome this tragic part of the journey... 1. When someone throws shade, try to look at them with Jesus eyes. See the good, even if you must set emotion to the side for a moment. 2. Sad people hurt others. Know this and you will always be able to roll the mean statements and sentiments off the shoulders. Let it burn, then let it Go. 3. Pray for these people. They need it the most. 🙏 4. Don’t make mama come up in the school and Namaste some mean girls! 😆 5. Remember, not everyone loves the way you do. Teach others how to Love and there won’t be so much Hate to go around. 6. Advocate for Your Self first. Stand up for others, but make sure you are Good first. Know that others won’t always treat you as you treat them. Be kind anyway. 7. You are a miracle child. That comes with a special glow that some just can’t handle. ✨Keep Glowing anyway.✨ I can only hope she listens and practices these tips. We are all learning these lessons. The bullying, backstabbing, envious world we live in won’t take our God Given Glow. 🙏 #breathebelievereceive #godsglow #miraclechild #bulliesneedlovetoo #peacekeeper #resiliency #parenting #motherhood #herewego #biggirlnow #hatersgonnahate #namaste #mamabear https://www.instagram.com/p/BnXl5pBFFFY/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1835ql424it3v
