As Women’s History Month begins to come to a close, I wanna highlight a few women who not only pushed the boundaries in the art of hiphop but shaped the game from beginning to now.

Shout out to @foxybrown for being a pioneer in hiphop with bold & boisterous lyrics, high profile & luxurious style, & proving a women can take over a track with male rappers who are considered lyrics masters. She proved that as a lady, it’s nothing when it comes to spittin with the fellas & being unapologetic in who you are. Thank you for inspiring me to be ME.

I stumbled on this beautiful song "Imperial" by @elewa.music last night and decided to flip it some minutes ago. I made it into an experimental afro-fusion, mellow hiphop track with dark textures.
