Goemon, my precious Goebaby… thank you for being the calm in my life. Thank you for being the person I can always trust to make me feel safe when the world feels overwhelming and all I can feel is anxiety, stress, and uncertainty. You are my comfort, my peace, and my safe place to land after a long day.

I love how different we are in all the best ways. I’m the emotional one…the silly, affectionate wife who feels everything so deeply and smothers you with love every chance she gets. Meanwhile, you’re the steady one. The calm one. The one who somehow makes everything feel quieter and gentler just by being there. You bring a sense of peace into my life that I can’t really put into words.

Thank you for spending this year by my side. Thank you for every smile, every comforting moment, and every reason you’ve given me to keep moving forward. I’m so incredibly grateful to be your wife, and I hope we have many more anniversaries together.

Hey guys!!! This drawing is a little simpler than usual mainly because art block has been absolutely destroying my ability to draw backgrounds and do detailed shading lately, BUT this piece still means a lot to me.

One of my favorite things about Goemon has always been his fluffy, thick hair. I like to imagine he trusts me enough to let me brush it, and honestly? The idea just melts my heart. What’s even funnier is that I actually had a dream recently where I was brushing his hair…and it was Part 1 Goemon specifically! So that ended up becoming the inspiration for this drawing. It’s also my first time drawing Part 1 Goemon, which made it feel even more special. I eventually want to draw Eris with every version of Goemon because at the end of the day every Goemon is my Goebaby. 🥹💕

Just a quick, messy little sketch of Eris with Part 4 Goemon because he’s been living rent free in my brain lately. Honestly, I can’t help but picture Eris being extra lovey dovey and super touchy with this version of him!! His design is just way too cute. I can totally see her squishing his face, calling him a million pet names, and loudly gushing to everyone within earshot about how adorable he is because it’s the truth! He is a goebaby!!! 😭👏💕

Okay this is such a messy sketch LMAO. I take it back, this might actually be the messiest thing I’ve posted so far. But I really wanted to try drawing Eris with Koike’s version of Goemon. For some reason, I can totally see her getting the most flustered around this one. He’s easily the most intimidating, brooding, “I will stare into your soul” version of Goemon out there. (Still a goebaby though. Always.)

It’s my first time drawing him, so I really hope I did him justice!! I’ll definitely be drawing him again for the little project I’m working on, but I needed some practice first and this was the result. 😤🫶🏻🩷

A little lore drop: I love imagining this as the exact moment Goemon fell in love with Eris. The very first time she sang, at the piano in the bar, it completely stole his heart. But it wasn’t just the song; it was the way she meant every word, pouring her whole heart into it. And when Goemon looked at her, he realized he couldn’t help falling in love either. That was the moment everything changed for him, and you can see it written all over his face. My Goebaby aaa.✨

Also can you tell I like drawing blurry backgrounds? It saves time and effort but also adds a neat effect in my opinion aaa. Anyways I hope my art is improving a bit I’ve been practicing alot lately too! :’)💕

I’m really glad he’s become softer and has started letting his walls down, not just for his friends but for me too. Of course he’s still guarded and strong like he always is, but that’s what makes it so special. The fact that I get to see that softer side of him crack through sometimes and that he feels comfortable enough to show it to me…just means a lot.🩷
