Yoyo Dodo Headcanons

-Yoyo is BIG on researching extinct species…so he can populate Wackyland with Toon versions of them! Unfortunately, being that he’s a Toon, he can’t bring other Toons to life himself but that won’t stop him from trying!

-Going off of that, Yoyo has a fondness for the Ice Age Crew (aka Manny, Diego, and Sid). Even if he’ll often show up to bother/annoy them.

-Yoyo isn’t the greatest dad to Gogo, as he treats Gogo more as a friend than a son. Thankfully for him, Gogo doesn’t seem to mind.

-Yoyo is a loner amongst the Looney Tunes. With the exception of Porky (and even that’s sparingly) he mainly stays out of the affairs pretty much all of the Looney Tunes. He always shows up at the weirdest of times in the weirdest of places with the weirdest of sayings. Nobody understands what he means until much later.

-Yoyo has a fondness for watermelons. Not cutting them up and then eating them…whole watermelons. He often challenges himself to see just how big each watermelon is and how far he can stuff it in his mouth.

-After Lola, Yoyo is the stretchiest and most flexible Looney Tune. He can bend and twist his body into all sorts of positions. However, unlike Lola, he overdoes it and occasionally twists himself into (literal) pretzels.

-Yoyo's feathers....are not all that soft. He has the scraggliest and roughest feathers known to toonkind. It's not that he doesn't take care of himself, he does....it's just the way his feathers are naturally.

-Yoyo's favorite invention of all time are swivel chairs. He LOVES using swivel chairs, spinning around in them and seeing how fast he push a swivel chair's limits. He also likes switching out regular chairs with them to prank some of the Looney Tunes.

-Yoyo's beak is INCREDIBLY sharp. You do NOT want to be pecked by him. Thankfully, he considers pecking "beneath" him so he rarely pecks anyone unless he's full blown scared (and that's incredibly, incredibly rare).

-Yoyo is BIG into challenging toys. He especially really likes diablos. He doesn't like rubik's cubes all that much though, considering them "boring."

-Wackyland is considered a REALLY challenging place, even for Toons. It's been theorized that the terrain of Wackyland itself is sentenient in a way, almost like the land is a Toon themselves. Only Yoyo knows for sure, and he makes things worse by refusing to confirm or deny any theories.

-Yoyo calls all umbrellas "bumbershoots." Or some variations of the word (and they get sillier and sillier each time) He NEVER calls an umbrella an umbrella or a parasol a parasol.

-Yoyo HATES social media. And Wackyland agrees with him. To that end, Wackyland AND Yoyo are completely immune to having pictures of themselves taken. No matter how hard some people try, they NEVER show up on film/photos...unless they WANT to be. For Yoyo, that's rare. For Wackyland, it's even rarer.

-The only article of clothing Yoyo has worn and ever WILL wear are bowties. Not just any bowties. Snap on bowties that he can discard and replace at a moment's notice.

-A strange habit Yoyo has is standing fully on his head and talking to people. Being that he's a Toon and he doesn't have blood, he can do this for long periods of time. Mainly, he does it when he wants to make a point (serious or not).

-Yoyo doesn't mind that he's a bit player in the larger Looney Tune cast. He really, truly doesn't. If anything, that makes the appearance he DOES make all the more special.

“Things could get pretty hectic in Wackyland.. Wanna tour guide Friendo?” So.. After I redesigned the Loonatics members I think it’s time I show y’all my oc Daphidolia Dodo, part of the not-so-last-of-the-dodos and the new ruler of Wackyland. A place thought to be myth only for it to be a planet the entire time. 

Speaking of…. 

It wasn’t until during a fight with one of their villains of the week the Loonatics ended up crash landing to that very planet, where they remained stranded cause the parts of the ship that needed fixing grew two legs and ran away from them. Yeah from the start they knew this wasn’t a normal planet though this wasn’t even the start of it.  

Noticing their new guests she thought ,why not welcome these guys to Wackyland? Show them the full beauty of what their home is and have them get into her home’s good ol hijinx. Greet them with open tentacles! Or arms whichever works… As soon as she finds Danger their tour would be back on! 

You see the girl’s very ecstatic to meet new faces and she’d love to meet em. It’s just that she isn’t aware of how intimidated they would be to meet reality shifting entities. In fact, she kinda thinks her powers are the norm. After all their ancestors did it so they should be naturals too. I mean, it’s not like toon logic hasn’t been a thing for centuries right ?
