She found herself shifting nervously from foot to foot, too afraid to announce her presence (and perhaps hoping he would notice and take pity on her, like some sort of lost puppy). So many of the other patrollers had made use of the mentors and had trained under the tutelage of the Great Heroes, but Willow had never felt like she was really worth that. What was the point in throwing away effort on someone like her?

But... she couldn't deny that her strength was... well. It was lacking. And if she wanted to keep on helping people, she had to get stronger. And everyone always said how nice of a mentor he was, and how patient and willing to work with his students he was...

"U-um, Gohan, sir, um... I was wondering if I could... talk to you for a moment?"

Lord, her nervousness was going to become palpable and leak into him at this rate.

Does Piccolo feel conflicted about Dende? Like does he know the Nail part of him is close to the little Namek or does his Piccolo/Kami parts not care?

Piccolo isn’t sure to be honest. He isn’t conflicted per say, but he’s not sure how much of nail influences his liking of Dende. He knows he himself likes Dende so it’s not like he only likes the younger becuase of that, but Nail saw Dende as a little brother so that might influence Piccolo in thinking of Dende that way.

(because this blog has Dende and Kami too...)

Dende doesn’t know Nail has enough of a ‘consciousness’ left to influence Piccolo; he is oblivious to the internal debate Piccoo often has about his feelings toward the youth. He just thinks he’s grown onto Piccolo like Gohan and Goten did.

Kami knows of Piccolo’s thoughts and- Spoiler alert- knows that it’s Piccolo’s own feelings. The ‘Nail’ that still exists (according to Piccolo) is the Namekin’s own consciousness. Due to PTSD with his father and having once been evil he had no real conception of right and wrong. Nail influenced Piccolo in his dying moments by giving him memories and knowledge but not feelings. In this way the memories that were gifted to him helped his form a consciousness of his own.

Because Piccolo has no idea what a consciousness really is he assumes it is Nail’s life still in him. But Kami knows that after Nail had been absorbed- and the instantaneous Memory and knowledge transfer) the Namekin named Nail was gone completely.

A giggle escaped her as she swayed unsteadily on her feet. Willow would had lost her balance completely if she hadn’t reached out to grab a hold of Gohan’s arm. Her full weight was practically leaning against him, and yet it hardly seemed to phase him. “Hee-- you’re s-strong.”

Pointless statement. Of course he was; he was Gohan.

The pro of alcohol was that it dulled her sense of emotional, making it next to impossible for Willow to feel others and, in turn, for them to feel her. The con? It was the way that everyone suffered through. A severe lack of inhibitions. 

“-- an’, an, yer-” The words were slurred out as she stretched onto her toes, leaning in to kiss his cheek.

🔖- Is your muse a daydreamer? What do they tend to think about? Have they ever caught themselves while lost in thought?

Mariko is a HUGE daydreamer. She dreams of glory, of making her name renown in History, of matching her ancestors in their great feats. When she dreams, she definitely dreams big, maybe even too much. And obviously, she never chooses the right time or place to do that, another reason why she gets many detentions: more than catching herself while lost in thought, it’s safer to say other people drag her out of her daydreaming. But why following a class on how capsules are made, when you can dream of defeating Frieza single-handedly?
