the scene in s2e3 where the little ginger kid is hunched over jinx was an INSANE THING to do
and vi, having to watch that-
is she reminded of herself and powder? and little powders drive to protect vi and the rest of her family, even if shes too young and inexperienced to do much? is she reminded of a younger version of HERSELF protecting little jinx?
or does the child, hunched over the body of a loved one, a caretaker, shaking with grief and anger and injustice, remind her of herself from s1? does it remind her of shielding Vander with her own body, a hand on his chest as she tries to process how serious it is, and could further get? does she understand now, how jinx felt, when Vi was tearing into her with blame? did being at the other end of the gun make her realise how young she was? did it remind her of powder, her family, all that shes had and craves and has lost? all shes trying to lose again?
