i had my day of rest and now, i crave the long wander again (and by long wander i mean hopping on a treadmill and vividly daydreaming i'm hauling ass across whatever fictional universe my brain puts me in for the next two hours)

#i mean i COULD just go for a walk...but like...i live on a hill and i hate walking hills #also it's bright outside #also the weather is inconsistent #also there's trained first aid folk and equipment in the gym in case shit goes south whereas going for a walk #i end up at the mercy of fate if i suddenly have an asthma attack #or if the hole in my heart decides to complete what it set out to do all those years ago and implode #or explode #i honestly don't really know if it would implode and collapse #or explode and rupture the main arteries that run through it #i know oxygenated and non oxygenated blood mixing is a possibility which would mean the hole is getting bigger #but they never said if it would get bigger by expanding outwards or if the expansion would make the muscle structure collapse in on itself #can't exactly ask them either cause the guy who did all the xrays and diagnosis is dead and also in a different country #and when i explained it to my doc he kinda just went “....well if you're not dead yet then you're probably fine” which is...comforting?#i guess?#in any case safer to go to gym where they have the heart starty machine in case shit happens #and i should shut up and go to bed oh my god its 1am
