i never did (i had a bunch fo missing assignments at the time and was near to failing so I just.. didn't)

...Zelda's family crest is embroidered onto the sailcloth she gives Link.
While it COULD very much just be her signing her work, it COULD ALSO be her quite literally putting her mark on Link.
