First and foremost, if you never know where or what you want to eat, then you've come to the right place!

Hi! I'm your Fayetteville, NC Restaurant Explorer and I'm here to tell you everything I know about where to eat around town (and occasionally out of town).

I've lived in this city since 2007 and in all of this time I've eaten just about everywhere. From Sports Bars to Mom N Pops to Holes-In-The-Walls. I'm not a picky eater and I go out waaayyyy too much lol!

I love food! I love the way it tastes and smells, I love the textures and the colors, and I love finding new favorites. Whenever I spot a place I haven't been to, I make it my mission to try it at least once. And if it's a hit, I make sure to tell my friends and family all about it.

But you know what?

I want to tell more people. I want to tell everyone!

My Healthy Lifestyle Challenge! (Challenge #3)

Happy Friday! How many of you were able to complete Challenge 2?!

Challenge #1 (September 28 - October 4):

Make sure at least half of each lunch and each dinner consist of vegetables. So if you took a plate, put a line down the middle, and one half of the plate should be vegetables.

Challenge #2 (October 5 - October 11):

Aim to do some type of physical activity for at least 30 minutes 5 days/ week. This can be as simple as walking your dogs or walking the mall, but try to include some vigorous exercise as well.

If you did so, CONGRATS! You are on your way to living healthier lifestyle. By working towards healthy choices, you will start feeling better both physically and emotionally. 

Here is the challenge for the upcoming week: 

Challenge #3 (October 12 - October 18):

Decrease the number of times you go out to eat for meals by half. So if you go out to lunch 3 times a week, aim to cut it down 1-2 times this week.

We may not realize it, but when we go out to eat, we are consuming more calories than if we ate food from home. Even if we make healthy choices, a lunch can easily add up to 800 calories.
