♪~
Our song is: Lies, BIGBANG
I’m resisting the urge to put the whole thing here but I must choose…
“It rains late at night and brings back memories of you
I toss and turn at the thoughts of you.”
“I fill my aching heart with drinks that I can’t drink.
the more that I drank, the less I forgot
I lost my heart to you and it’s not worth it
I’m better without you and I’m not being honest.”
“The song I sang for you with my everything
Nobody would know I’m alone without letting anyone know.”
*Actually just put all of TOP’s rap here I can’t deal with any of it
“I still can’t forget you
I won’t forget you until I die
I wonder if the heartache I gave you is healed.”
princessofthewall a lot of this song is about how the singer’s own hate and foolishness is reflected back on himself. He caused the girl he loved a whole lot of heartache - at the expense of his own heart. His heart is never full because it’s not that it’s empty - it’s gone. He’s reduced to wandering the streets and drinking things he know will only hurt himself, but these things only solidify his memories instead of wiping them away. Wracked with guilt, he punishes himself and doesn’t even dare to ask her to come back. All he can do is apologise and admit he did actually love her. At the very end, he hopes that her heart could be healed, while his never will for the rest of his life. The entire song is about only understanding what love means after it is lost, what having a heart and emotions mean after they are stolen from him by his own actions, and understanding what it is to wish someone happiness but to live away from that person forever.

Lies / 거짓말 (1999) I highly recommend this film, for a long time now it’s been one of my many favourites.. The film from start to finish is a fun, engaging, interesting (especially for those of us who have an interest in sadomasochism and exploring/pushing our own limits mentally and sexually with a person who shares the same views, desires, cravings and all-consuming 1-1 intimacy) and exciting ride, but I especially love the ending. A very well written and satisfying film from South Korea. ‘’Y and J embark on a sexual odyssey beyond the realms of obsession and sadomasochism. No common love affair, theirs tests the limits of both body and mind. Intense desires drive them into a relationship that revolves around pain, pleasure and unavoidable lies..’’
