i think it could work under the right circumstances! danny prefers to work alone because he’s an attention hog but he would think it funny to string someone like cherry along for a while if the circumstances just so happened to line up for it. of course intending to kill her the moment he gets bored or she becomes too much of an inconvenience. but she can figure that out for herself ;)
