How do autos work if you buy them from someone with a gold pass? J2 are only doing autos for people who bought the gold pass at my con

J2 only ever do autos for Gold and Silver ticket holders at all cons.
If you buy an auto off someone's pass, you will have to arrange to meet up with that person before the auto session and borrow their pass to go up and get the auto.
So make sure you know where the person you are buying the auto off is sitting. Make sure you meet beforehand and introduce yourself, and arrange how you're going to manage it the pass handover at auto time. Then at the end of the panel, you will borrow their pass, go do the auto, then return their pass to them.
