The Beast got some glamour shots today off-roading on #goldcamproad (at Gold Camp Road)
We had an unexpected trip on the Gold Camp Road in Colorado Springs. We knew nothing about it before the GPS took us there. The whole drive was very interesting and nerve racking. Brendan was super excited from the beginning to the end while I was very nervous at the very bumpy road, and sheer cliff drop offs with no guard rails along the way Gold Camp Road is an 8.6 mile long highly scenic road (dirt trail) from Colorado Springs to Victor, CO. It was used as a train route for gold. We were only able to drive through 2 of the 9 tunnels. We were both fascinated by their construction. Some people believe that it’s a haunted road, and it has paranormal activities. There are rumors that a school bus with 50 kids were all killed in a collapse of tunnel 3 while they were on their way back from Victor to Colorado Springs after a field trip in 1987. #goldcamproad (at Gold Camp Road) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbIz8K1PWDo/?utm_medium=tumblr
