So I just found out about @birbfest.challenge ... a challenge to draw a bird a day and I am late to the party??? So I am speedily trying to catch up! This is the Golden Headed Manakin from day 4. A wonderful friend of mine got me gouache paints for my Christmas... so this is the perfect opportunity to start learning them!
