Pearls and Jade pothos needs water
These tricks can make your watering schedule easier and pain free for you and your plants!
One way you can check this is to gently move and shake the plant. If the leaves are very limp it is probably tired and needs some water to perk up!
Hydration does wonders for a dehydrated plant!
2. Are the leaves curling under?
This is one of the main things your plant will do when it wants a drink.
It's an easy one to notice from a distance too. See how the ends of the leaves are curling under?
A drink can go a long ways!
3. Are the stems "wiggly?"
Who wants a wiggly plant? "Not I!" said the plant mom.
If your stems are bending and easily hanging down further than normal your plant is thirsty.
The stems should not be rubbery or bending too easily. Be careful though! They can become bruised if you play with them too much when they are water deprived.
This is my happy Pearls N Jade pothos after watering. Came a long ways and perked right up!
I've had many people ask how I keep my plants so full. I regularly replant cuttings in the top to keep the "head of hair" full and beautifully lush.
This one hasn't needed much.
I liked the pot size so instead of potting up, I tried a branch and shared the cuttings with a friend.
This stimulated more growth which you can see just a month later
