A random headcanon: swiftpaws (her sons) death really destroyed her, even more so after realising it was because of her ex mate. longtail recognised it, and helped her recover, and in return, got help to move on himself. the two of them became close friends after this, and would keep helping eachother through later hard times (like tawnykit leaving thunderclan, tigerstars death, longtails blinding, etc.) <3 General Opinion over said character: as you say, i think she was supposed to be a secondary character, and so, really wish they gave her more of the spotlight! a super edition or a novella about her could be so interesting, shes been through alot :( love her!!
