they're probably going to keep Ajani with the same Double Ax if he makes another appearance but i'm hoping they give him something different. It can still be generally the Double Ax, but it cannot be the same double ax.
Cus last time we saw Ajani's Ax, it looked like this.
And as a reminder, The former Ax was made out of both the axehead of his own weapon and of his late brother Jazal.
I want him to be marked by the experience of being compleated, how it not only violated his will, his mind, his morals, but stole him of his last ties to one of the first people who believed in him. He has neither the Axe that his brother brandished, nor the body that he had coated with his brother's ashes. He'd been made into the white-furred Death the superstitions of his Pride told he was, And now he has to live with that. Make up for that, somehow...
I'd rather this whole arc in War of the Machines hadn't happened, but it did, so i hope they can make something interesting out of it at least
