Braidhawk

For months now, I’ve been obsessed with having a braid mohawk. I just think it’s the coolest hairstyle I’ve seen EVER! Last night What R U Wearing hosted a Be Fabulous Festival event at my favorite finishing salon Goldplaited which included a braid bar and where the ladies talked about festival fashion. Megan has the most amazing talent and just whipped up this braidhawk like it was nobody’s business. Even with my length I was so impressed. I have a feeling that I’ll be rocking my alter ego hairstyle all summer long.

Gold Plaited Salon Makeup Class Review !!

So last night i took a makeup class at a salon,Goldplaited. Its located in chicago,near lakeview/lincoln park. It is a very nice salon they specialize in finishing hair and makeup. I followed the instructors to create this look. Winged cat eye liner and a bold red lips. I highly recommend taking a class there. They offer other classes. Lasts night's class covered the Zelda look which is basically the vintage romantic look. The class only costed 20 bucks, the class was hands on as well. We never want to wake up from the DREAM that was yesterday's photoshoot for goldplaited! You know you have something amazing when 8.5 hours felt like one and you would get up and do it all over again the next day. We can hardly wait to see the images which we will use in our salon services menu and for our website. It would have seriously been impossible without the amazing team we worked with. Mal & I can't wait to collaborate with these ladies in the near future!
