It doesn’t happen very often, but it’s always surreal seeing my old designs out in the world. Whether on the bumper of a car, on a t-shirt at the grocery store, in a stack of records, or flying fast on the internet, I pause and double-take. I often think, “Gee. That looks very familiar. Why do I know that?” It then dawns on me and I quickly roll backwards the seeds of creation and clock, sometimes ten to twenty years removed. It happened this morning on eMusic with their latest sampler for Gold Robot Records. Thanks again to label leader Hunter Mack for the design work and kindness. How has it been a decade?
