the first time grace ever saw eli, she was definitely attracted to him. she went so far as to sign up for a club just so she’d have the chance to talk to him, since he was two grades ahead of her. when she finally got her chance, she found out quickly that she didn’t even know what flirting was and it was probably best if she just didn’t even try before she made a fool out of herself - more of a fool than she felt she already had.
