Golimumab
I feel my spine crack as I lean against the wall The pressure in joints builds to a breaking point and I find that I can’t move anymore My bones are a prison and I can’t break out of this one As my knuckles wish to curl into a fist but they can’t and I lay them flat on the keyboard Wishing there was more but finding this is all that I have left
Laying on the bathroom floor using the hottest water in the shower Just hoping it loosens up my body but I get out and still continue to shuffle my hips hurt whenever I try to walk normal and I can’ turn my head without snapping my neck
They say there’s nothing they can do except send me into some pain management and I can’t take what they tell me to take I don’t trust myself to follow instructions So they sit, little orange bottles with white lids In the dark we break the childproof lids
There’s an ache that’s always with me and it only gets worse in the cold Enough to make me sick to my stomach and that sits fires in all my cartilage I am dying a slow painful death
