Okay so I finally have time to talk about this. Been meaning to since yesterday morning but hadn't quite had an opportunity yet (̶B̶e̶s̶i̶d̶e̶s̶ ̶I̶ ̶g̶o̶t̶ ̶d̶i̶s̶t̶r̶a̶c̶t̶e̶d̶ I'm so glad that SOMEONE in this family understands Shiva, or at least the REASON for his actions. Shiva's been facing his demons all alone this time. He's kind of very reserved when it comes to dealing with his feelings. He doesn't want to burden anyone else and that's why he doesn't open up easily. Gautam has raised his little brother alongside his Ma. He may not understand exactly what Shiva is going through but he KNOWS and he acknowledges it. He corrects him. He reminds Shiva that he is VALUABLE. That he's loved, cherished, treasured and valued. At least by Gautam. Yes people do take Shiva for granted a lot, gaura included but the reason why Shiva's bond with them is important is because SHIVA LOVES THEM. I have a strife with the writers with the whole 'blind faith' thing but love is another aspect. Shiva deserves to LOVE and BE LOVED. This is why I cherish his moments with Suman or his little hugs with Gombi and sometimes even Dev(tho I cringe a little with Dev because he's caused so many problems in his brothers life). I loved how @mahajankinshuk17 and @kanwardhillon_ emote as a pair of brothers. Gombi couldn't STAND the thought that Shiva thinks he's unworthy. It's how every sibling thinks about their other sibling. It's how every parent thinks about his child. Gautam is not Shiva's parent in the conventional sense but Shiva lost his father at a very young age and Gombi has been the only semblance of a father figure in his life. In order to understand and love Shiva, it's important to understand why he holds these people so close to his heart. I AM a little disappointed in Gombi for not stopping Dhara during the beating kand and every time I see him being protective of Shiva I'm still a little hesitant but in this case I was kind of comforted. Mr Haruna Furo, Secretary, Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, said on Sunday that about 90 per cent of Internally Displaced Persons in the various camps in the state had returned home.
