Excite!
Some of you may have noticed when the New Year's doll poll went around that I listed my grail doll as Gomidoll, Igon. Well, there is an Igon SS head in my bedroom right now. He's a restoration project, but I am up to any challenge he offers me.
Legit headcap issues
This is my own PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with this head. I had won a legit head in a contest here on tumblr (personally don't care if I'm outed. not gunna be too hard to find, me thinks). It is a Normal skin 9-10” Idue/Ideu Head, and the headcap doesn't fit on it worth shit. I personally don't mind, not only was the person generous enough to give away a free head and THREE pairs of beautiful eyes, it is an adorable head~ Plus, it really wouldn't be that hard to fix. I'm sorry the pictures aren't the best. My phone broke so I had to settle for my webcam, but it gets to the point. Now, both of these pictures were taken after messing with the headcap for a bit, trying to get it to sit right. This was as best as I could get it. From the top it doesn't look too bad, just crooked
But from the back:
Blurp.. I can muscle it into place, but it just pops back out when I do so after a bit, or with the slightest touch. I'm sure with a bit of tack/eye putty or double sided tape and a wig it will be fine. I was just a little thrown off guard when I saw this on a legit doll!
I still really love this head and can't wait to get a body and figure out what I want to do with him~
